Youth Over Us – YouthBuild Franklin County offers free programs that provide the opportunity to obtain your high school diploma, receive career and college readiness training, and get paid doing it! Our network of local businesses and partnerships can help you gain hands-on experience in a variety of fields and transition into a career, college, or vocational school. Transportation to and from our programs may be available.
STEPS FOR ADMISSION:
- Everyone is invited to attend an Information Session where you will receive a more thorough overview of the YouthBuild Lake County programs. Information Sessions are held online (virtual) meeting. You will receive information about the meeting after completing the form below.
- After attending the Information Session, we ask you to take a basic skills test which helps us measure where you are academically. You will also participate in an interview where you and a staff member plan for your success here at YouthBuild Franklin County, and a Career Assessment where we help you understand what career options best fit your personality.
- After those steps are complete, you could be invited to participate in our Mental Toughness program–– a two-week period where we see who will benefit from our program. This is a competitive process!
