Youth Over Us – YouthBuild Franklin County offers free programs that provide the opportunity to obtain your high school diploma, receive career and college readiness training, and get paid to do it! Our network of local businesses and partnerships can help you gain hands-on experience in a variety of fields and transition into a career, college, or vocational school. Transportation to and from our programs may be available.
STEPS FOR ADMISSION:
- Applicants are invited to attend an Interview where they will receive a thorough overview of the Youth Over Us/Franklin County YouthBuild program. A staff member will assist you in creating a Career Assessment for your success here at YOU/Franklin County YouthBuild. The Career Assessment will help you understand what career options best fit your personality. Interviews are held in person at 1455 East Main Street.
- After the interview, we will ask you to take a basic skills test which helps us measure where you are academically.
- After those steps are complete, you could be invited to participate in our Mental Toughness program, a two-week period in which we see who will benefit from our program. This is a competitive process!
